These Roasted Pumpkin Seeds have been a family favorite every fall. This is a recipe that my dad use to make and is made with simple ingredients.

Roasted pumpkin seeds are crunchy and this version is salt and pepper. The small pie pumpkins contain smaller seeds, while carving pumpkin result in larger seeds.

Ingredients

pumpkin seeds

salt

butter

pepper

How to Make Pumpkin Seeds:

In a medium bowl, place the seeds, butter, salt and pepper.

Mix all ingredients until combined.

Place on a baking sheet ensuring the seeds are in an even layer.

Place in a pre-heated 400° oven and bake for 5 minutes for smaller seeds or up to 20 minutes for larger seeds. When the seeds begin to turn a light brown color, they are done baking
