We love using melting chocolate to make creative desserts and snacks. Chocolate-covered fruit is a well-loved treat, but these Chocolate-Dipped Strawberry Carrots turn it into something more! Whether youโre entertaining friends or family this holiday, your guests are sure to be dazzled by these sprinkled snacks.
You can use two methods to create carrot-colored chocolate. The first method is to melt regular white chocolate and add orange food coloring (or red and yellow mixed together) to get the right hue. The second method is a bit easier: just pick up orange melting chocolate!
Whichever method you choose, simply melt the chocolate to a creamy consistency and dip your strawberries carefully into it. Be sure to dip them all the way up to the stems to get the full effect of your Carrot Strawberries!
While the chocolate coating is still soft, dip the strawberries into bright orange sugar sprinkles. To avoid marring the chocolate covering, you can also sprinkle them on top of the strawberries.
Serving Up Springtime
Spring gives us the chance to get creative with our treats. From delightful pastel colors to unique takes on sweet favorites, there are all kinds of ways to serve exciting dishes this season.
Chocolate-Dipped Strawberry Carrots stand on their own as fun and delicious bite-sized desserts. But theyโll really stand out when paired with other snacks. Serve them alongside carrot cake or plate them surrounded by greens to enhance their vegetable deception. They also look great alongside an Easter Bunny Fruit Tray!
