Apple and Goat Cheese Crostini
juiced and zested
crumbled goat cheese
chopped (plus more for garnish)
Preheat broiler to high.
Drizzle both sides of baguette slices with olive oil. Broil for about 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned. Flip and broil the other side.
Coat the apples in lemon juice (to prevent browning) and set aside.
Mix the goat cheese, lemon zest, thyme, and pepper together in a small bowl.
Spread the goat cheese mixture onto baguette slices. Top with apple slices and drizzle with honey. Garnish with a sprig of thyme and plate.
