Basil Lime Raspberry Champagne Cocktail

  • 1bottle blush champagnevery cold
  • 1cup raspberries
  • 2 limes1 for juice and 1 for garnish
  • 1/4cup sugar
  • 1/2cup water
  • 1/3cup fresh basilplus more for garnish
  1. Prepare basil-lime-raspberry simple syrup by combining, juice of 1 lime, sugar and water in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil; remove from heat and add 1/3 c. basil and 2/3 c. raspberries.
  3. Cool syrup.
  4. Combine cold champagne and cooled syrup in a large pitcher.
  5. Serve with fresh raspberries, lime wedges and basil leaves.
