  • 4oz fetacut into squares
  • 1/2cup olive oil
  • 3sprigs fresh thyme
  • 3sprigs fresh oregano
  • 1tsp garlicminced
  • fresh pepperto taste
  1. Place about 1/4″ of olive oil into an 8 oz mason jar, making sure the bottom is fully coated.
  2. Place a square of feta into the jar. Place 1 sprig of thyme and oregano on top. Add about 1/3 of the garlic and a pinch of black pepper. Repeat this step, forming layers, about 3 times or until the jar is full.
  3. Add remaining olive oil to the jar, until the feat is covered. Cover with a lid and refrigerate overnight, allowing the feta to marinate and intensify in flavor.
